Carbon Footprint Analysis
Onboarded customer’s global infrastructure and IT assets to UnityOne AI for tracking the power consumed by the data center devices, private cloud, and public cloud. Complete real-time visibility and transparency of their carbon footprints were offered using unified dashboards to monitor energy usage and reduce CO2 emissions across their distributed IT environments.
Seamless Integrations
A comprehensive carbon monitoring solution, UnityOne AI provided monitoring of carbon emissions across the global IT infrastructure (servers, PDUs, storages, routers, access points, firewalls, load balancers, etc.). It was integrated with “Microsoft Azure for sustainability” to track customers’ carbon footprints in the public cloud. Additionally, “Nexthink” was integrated to assess the power consumption of devices like laptops, desktops, and printers.
Recommendation Engine To Baseline & Optimize Resources
A six-step sustainability process was implemented that includes a carbon-neutral recommendation engine. This engine optimizes resources based on cognitive carbon analysis and power consumption data that assesses the current state of the IT environment. Additionally, it provides recommendations for CO2 reduction and offers critical improvements such as resource consolidation, virtualization, and optimization.
Report Generation And Compliance
UnityOne AI aggregates data from customer’s distributed global infrastructural footprints like data centers, edge locations, and cloud resources and offers multiple reports on a device, cabinet, and data center level to meet ESG compliances and standards.
